This work of “ending homelessness” is filled experiences. Life and death. Sickness and health. Regression and progression. Humanity.
When you see an unhoused, unsheltered person please make eye contact and ask them their name, see their strength and recognize their humanity.
It’s beautifully simple. We can end homelessness by changing the systems that create and maintain homelessness.
More than 12,000 unduplicated individuals visited the Human Services Campus and received at least one service.
We carry on. Heads down, focused on the work, and pushing for systems change, taking the high road.
This coming Sunday marks one year since our champion, Mike McQuaid passed away due to COVID.
Stuff. Things we can’t take with us, and it is so darn important to us while we are here.
