As human beings, it doesn’t matter if it’s an island or a desert, everyone deserves safe, permanent, affordable housing.

For me, the choice is to act with love. There is no maximum capacity on how much love one human being has and can give.

There are lessons to be learned from the last several years. There are definitely situations myself and HSC don’t want to repeat.

We have to pull ourselves through the uncertainty, the chaos, the ups and downs, because thousands of people are expecting us to help them.

The human element is perhaps the most important. People are the numbers. More than 7,000 human beings waiting for housing.

Everyone we interact with deserves to flourish and prosper. Every single one deserves to thrive.

Where ever you are, if you are reading this, check on people around you. The Arizona heat is excessive this summer.

A simple “Hello” lights up people with smiles and the recognition they have been seen. This is the fuel to fire our endeavors.
